Hi,
I built and managed an online tshirt site for a local screen printer in 2005 that did about 1 million in 2006 and 2007. I have recently quit that job and in the process of starting my own online tshirt business where you can design shirts online. Synapse is building the site and I am VERY excited!! Beauty Depot started as a brick and mortar retail beauty supply connected with Guy’s Academy of Cosmetology in 1999. We began our online business with Microsoft FrontPage to see if online sales were viable. Our first website, http://www.HealthandBeautyDepot.com, was built entirely by myself using FrontPage. I studied and achieved excellent SEO and tried every type of online advertising that I could find and the business took off like a rocket. I started using Miva Merchant in 2004 to introduce the new url, BeautyDepot.com and to help control inventory and aid with database driven shopping portals. We expanded our location 4 times in 7 years.
Now Beauty Depot is one of the top rated, premier shopping sites for beauty supplies on the Internet. We currently have approximately 100,000 visitors per month and handle roughly 2500 orders per month.
